I won’t wait for the dawn

I won’t wait for the dawn
By the time of the dusk,
I will reach for you
When the sun goes down
Falling in the sea
When he skies paints red
And the light of the day fades
I hope you wait for me
We will stay in the field
Looking at the rain, falling
From the stars…
That makes the snow gold
And illuminate our hearts
With a pale light
But it will burn inside…
Rain of gold…
Falling from the stars…
Don’t make our hearts cold
Release us from pain
So come and run with me
Far away in the night
The sky is our shelter…
Nothing’s left to bother…

Got inspired from a poem entitled « Demain dès l’aube… » by Victor Hugo that he dedicated to his daughter, who drowned.

J’ai été inspirée d’un poème écrit par Victor Hugo qui s’appelle « Demain dès l’aube » qu’il à dédié à sa fille, qui mourut noyée.
